I wondered when I saw the title if you were composting stories you were writing or stories you were telling yourself that weren't helping.

I took myself on a writing retreat with a friend. I planned to do some deep revision work. What I really needed was the spaciousness to not do other things. Exploring, napping, swapping stories with a friend at night ... I came home with nothing "done" but new ideas taking shape.

I'm in a similar place this week with work. I'm not on vacation, but I'm away and I've minimized client work, to let ideas swirl and settle.

As for the grape juice, I've frozen it to make jelly at a later day and to mix into a kid's punch.

The image of you on a roof in flip flops is iconic. I’m so glad you didn’t fall to your death because I would totally miss you. 😘

All that procrastination was productive in so many ways! Great post! Can’t wait to read your new creations.

Wow, now that’s a productive morning! Who knew that the fastest way to inspiration was through dog poop and dirty floors??

I have also been doing a late spring cleaning in my office this week. There is something about cleaning that clears the emotional and mental slate before creating again. Enjoy!
