I finished watching season 3 of Picard this week, and it was so nostalgic for Star Trek Next Generation and Voyager fans. I find myself reading seasonally nowadays: sci-fi/dystopian/gothic in the fall, more literary/classic in the winter, and romance/adventure in the spring/summer.
Love that you included photos of the actual recipe cards...on one of the recent Poetry Unbound episodes, the host referred to recipe cards as a form of poetry and that really resonated with me...also I LOVE anything written by a human hand, ink/pencil to paper. 💜
The blackberries are so close. I’m glad you got to read the story. Thanks for all your kind words this week. When I was younger, I wanted to be useful, but to be reciprocal, wow! See you tomorrow morning.
My favorite dystopian novel that comes to mind is Moon of the Crusted Snow by Waubgeshig Rice.

This looks so good. I can’t wait to read. Thank you!
Loved that story and would read more!
I’m so glad. It was really fun to write so we shall see. Thanks for reading!
Loved your short story! Was pulled in right away. Such an engaging idea- would love to read more!

Cool that you’ve noticed seasonal trends. 🙂
I only noticed it during the last couple years, but as soon as I realized it about myself, I was like DUH :)

I love this. My recipe box is special upon special for a few reasons. Thank you for these words.
That pie looks phenomenal. And all the rest was too.

Wow! Super engaging and very different from what you usually write. I want to know what happens next.
Me too! I’ll have to invite Creativity on a date again and see what happens.
