“Sometimes we have to say who we are, so the things that we aren’t don’t take up all the space.” That’s so powerful. This post is a great entry to your series. I can’t wait to see what’s coming next.

I love thinking about my story as an offering. I'm at the stage of life that I have many stories to share. I'm thinking about story as I live my life. Thank you!

How convenient and divine timing this letter arrives in my inbox this morning. For the same essence has been floating my mind as I write bios for my business, my Substack, my social media. Who am I amongst everything I’m not? Who am I at soul? Who am I when old patterns return? -- thank you for your story, for it has cleared a path for how to share mine. 💌

I’m so glad Em. I like the idea of returning to this question like a North Star.

Thanks for reading. I love the idea of holding onto the tenants of who I am and reevaluating each day.

We won't have frost for quite a while. I've planted all October and into November before.

Excited for this series - I’ve been thinking a lot about the power of story in our own minds. Anyway I am Celeste. I am a mother, writer, harpist, spiritual companion, daughter, wife and friend.

Me too! The power of the stories we live by. And what if we chose different stories?

Today the rains arrive here in Portland, Oregon, and fall has officially begun. Once the ground has softened, it will be time to plant and transplant. I have some of both to do. I will plant more natives, and transplant flowers growing in front of the house so we can put down a gravel bed to slant the rain away from the foundation. I'm looking forward, but today I am only sewing.

Enjoy Sandra. When does it frost in Portland. We are getting close to the end of planting season. I still have a few more things I’d like to do.
