I love the idea that we stay in a relationship with those who have passed through storytelling.

I love this too. I also love that my kids know stories from before they were born.

Salmon and wolves! So precious little environmental news is good news - I’m happy to have heard about 2 little pieces of good news in Spokane 😊

Love this,Mary. I'm very interested now in what acts can help restore balance. Abd i love what Eli said about the impact of his work on him as a human being.

Thanks for reading. I thought what Eli said was really cool too.

Thank you for sharing this with me Mary! I appreciate your perspective. What you said really resonates with me. I am glad you wanted more details regarding how wolves, if allowed can show us how to better people. I can always expound on that topic if you ever want to chat further. Take care and thank you for the love.

Thank you for this, Mary. And I'm very interested in your experiences as a foster parent. I can't wait.

Thanks for reading and joining us in this space. I’m so glad you are interested. I’m carving out a little space for the book now, which has included some of your write together sessions, so thank you for that. I’m hoping to jump into it a bit more when the school year winds down. I think I might try Jamie Attenberg’s 1,000 words of summer this year.

Wonderful. I haven't settled on a stable time for co-working sessions. I've been doing Mondays, but I had to skip yesterday because of travel. So none this week. I'll post about the next one. And yes to 1000 words of summer!!!

I couldn’t have done it this Monday anyway. It’s a gift you offer and it’s appreciated. I don’t think you need to pressure yourself to do it every week at a specific time. It’s a lovely idea and reminds me of what Natalie Goldberg says that we need to think of writing like a sport and we would never be expected to practice that sport alone. I look for your newsletter and announcements and then show up if I can. Grateful! 😊

The poem is everything. 💕 and your vulnerability is beautiful

Writing about my family, writing about my mom especially, made me kinder. I have empathy for the characters/people I write about even if they did me harm. When I write about a person, whether real or fictional, I try to see the world from their point of view. Thank you for your beautiful words today!

Thanks for reading! I’m so glad it resonated. It is reciprocal as that’s how I felt about your thoughts about the work that you do. Yes, I would love to chat and learn more. Maybe we can have a part two. 😊

Thanks for reading. That means everything too! I also really like that poem - I’m glad you like it. I suppose it is a bit vulnerable- most of my writing is.
